Keeping youself moving

Dancing is a really great way to keep moving and having fun at the same time.

Live Well with AiR was lucky enough to have Sam Needham Vize run some very popular dancing classes for the Cha Cha during lockdown.

Sam Needham Vize is the owner of Dance2gether, sharing the love of Ballroom and Latin American dancing to all ages, 5-85yrs! As a former International Champion, and a teacher in the Herts area for the last 10yrs, she has a passion to pass on her trade, and the ability to share her love for dance to anyone willing to try, even those with two left feet! She is looking forward to sharing this with you all in July, live on FB!

Her videos are all available here:

Week 9
Week 10
Week 11
Week 12

You can follow these videos at home alone, with a partner or child. They are great fun.

Fun to encourage movement

Live Well with AiR also promoted several topics that will encourage movement:

First steps to Singing with Katy

Laughter Yoga with Tracey Vaughan

Friendly walks

Air are working with The Redbourn Care Group (RCG), creating  Friendly Walks, for people who are feeling isolated or recovering from illness.  During lockdown they are being arranged via the RCG and piloted on Fridays at 10am.  For more details contact the RCG.

After lockdown we would envisage people progressing into The Hertfordshire Health Walks programme.
